Hercules Ch. 11 Trial Judge Suggests Renewed Negotiations

Wilmington (September 27, 2016, 6:46 PM EDT) -- Hercules Offshore Inc.’s contested bankruptcy confirmation hearing ended Tuesday with a court suggestion to resume settlement talks on a Chapter 11 plan repeatedly attacked by stockholders as the unfair product of a suspicious business failure.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Carey closed out the Delaware hearing and trial, which began Thursday, without making an immediate confirmation decision or hearing final arguments.
