The message here is two novel and very in-vogue drugs (PD1/LAG3) alone had limited efficacy on the mice while adding Bavi took it to a very different place.

While one can't predicatively formulate the level of response in humans in correlation to what they've seen in mice - the activity is undeniable and shows a deep learning about mechanism and efficacy. Everything we're hearing now about future trials (and those we are not aware of yet) is built on data they are slowly releasing.

LAG3 is the edge of science right now. These are not Peregrine scientists alone pushing the needle on the mice.

Its Biotech and, as such, bad things can always happen and therefore we can be cautious and optimistic at the same time. Good things can happen too...
