Its a bit chilly in Hannibal, compared to what it has been. Feels like a Yooper summer day, I had to put a sweatshirt on. 
A few years ago, my buddy and I went smallmouth bass fishing in Ashland, WI, on Lake Superior. The wind was blowing in stout from the northeast, so we had to fish on an inland lake that day. It wasn't terrible, but cool enough that we were fishing in insulated coveralls.
At a camp along the lake, a group of about 20, looked like maybe high school seniors? came out in swimming attire. They enjoyed a nice afternoon at the beach.
We just looked at each other and chattered our teeth because of the cold, shrugged our shoulders and caught little hammer handle pike.

bacon cheeseburger anyway.
