I never thought I would be rooting for intel. Bought my first mac in in 1987 (Mac SE) and then a Mac II ci, then power mac 8600 then the G4(see http://www.apple-history.com/). Looks like it's time for an upgrade.

As ya'll may remember, I am not on the retail team anymore but got
"side-moted" to the commercial sales team. Similar work, but less time on
the floor and more time in a cube!!! PTL!!! My emphasis is on SOHO and
small/medium businesses (SMB) markets, although I have some larger
accounts, as well...

3. Apple Core Duo ROCKS. Period. I have seen more folks jump to
MAC in the past several months than during any other period of
similar length. BTW: These systems are using DDR2 667mhz RAM.
No word, yet, on the type/speed in the new MAC PRO (PowerMac
replacement).
