The message is starting to sink in.

he is acting like its never been used in a drug before.

Even the die-hards (dye hard!) are getting it. Blue dye has never before been used in this way. Has anyone put up any links pointing to previous examples where blue dye was used for something other than an inert color additive? Has blue dye ever been used as an active ingredient in a drug intended for chronic use? Anybody? Even more generally, can you find an example of a drug that exposes patients to active biochemical on daily basis that provides no benefit to that patient?

I have an idea for IPCI. Why don't they add some sort of radioactive isotope to Rexista? They could use Iodine-125, as an example. Iodine is approved for OTC sale as an antiseptic. Iodine is FDA approved for treatment of thyroid problems. Specifically, I-125 is FDA-approved for human prostate seed implants, and since it is approved for that purpose, then it must be safe to use in any drug. It really is a perfect ADF because after an abuser chews their Rexista one time, all of their teeth will fall out and they will not be able to chew Rexista anymore. It'll definitely deter abuse.

Of course, similar to blue dye, it has never been approved for that purpose or tested for safety when used in that way. Just like blue dye, it provides no benefit to the legitimate user. Just like blue dye, it will accumulate in the bodies of legitimate users. And just like blue dye, it is a molecule which is proven to be highly toxic and deadly when not used in the approved manner.

There are many similarities between using blue dye as an ADF and using a radioactive compound as an ADF. Most important, neither has ever been used in this way and neither has been tested for use in this way.
