Thanks for sharing this FDA Nutritional Supplement news Rocket!

Got me off my dead ass on this. November is the due date for the 18 month requirement for General Nutrition Corporation, Walmart, Walgreens ant Target to be coming through for methods to secure their supply chains (has a ring of commonality here)

Not much word on them doing much about it. Certainly aren't getting the bevy of Genotyping and Marking patents on St. Johns Wort and all of em I was hoping for.

Your article indicates Walmart is just pulling the plug on nutritional supplements. GNC is going through all sorts of gyrations without much headway. Gone through at least one CEO and are shitting all over their franchise owners, and how hosed up is that?

2016 was supposed to be the big year for FDA action on mislabeling in nutritional supplements. No knock on your work here Brother, appreciating all your effort. I got a feeling the global healthy united article <Link to FDA Finds...GNC-Walmart--et al> likely to be filler copied from the news throughout the spring and summer of 201.

Hopefully not. Been tracking the FDA Office of Nutritional Supplement opened in January, and they ain't made any public declarations. Website they started seems to be gone. Disappointing, I got a few links.[/quote]

Been getting notifications from FDA on warning letters posted on this <link's> page. Here's the
<LINK to the Office of Food Supplement's Home page>. Nuthin. Ahh, thinking they're UNDERFUNDED at best.

National Institute of Health Office of Dietary Supplements nuther underfunded startup <& their Link>. The NIH office has been holding hearings that ain't that easy to track.

Dunno if GNC has their head in the sand or up their ass. Either way they're in a lot of trouble. Nutritional supplement industry has gone the same path as cotton, just as egregious. Evidently not in the same ball park as the mega-department store chains able to soak up their towels, sheets and shirts fiasco and move on.

GNC is fully in on supplementary products. Franchise holders being heavily damaged by their lack of action.

A little more than a month and a half till GNC has to report to the NY State Attorney General on how their securing their supply chain. Still hoping it's us.

AND Thanks for the info. All above is IMHO. Article may be dead on. AND, I'm loving it.
