Yesterday, Genius Brands announced one of the most exciting and potentially lucrative new kids brands ever, with an extraordinary team of talent assembled. From the director of Disney’s Lion King and the co-writer of Disney’s Frozen, Genius Brands is bringing out Rainbow Rangers. This will join our other tentpole brands now in the marketplace.

Speaking of which, SpacePOP now has 28 of its 108 webisodes in distribution as we add two new webisodes/week. The big proof will be when SpacePOP products hit the shelf next month.
 
As we head into the 4th Quarter, which in our business is the most important time of the year because it is the time when the consumers get to 'vote with their dollars,' I am pleased to report about all the opportunities for that to happen. Since the debut of SpacePOP only three months ago, we have already surpassed 7MM views to our YouTube channel and have over 20K subscribers. These are very strong metrics and in fact we know that our performance exceeds where Monster High was at the same point in its brand life cycle. Monster High ultimately became a $1 billion brand at retail, and this is what we are striving to achieve.

In the coming months, we are going to take those next steps with a broad range of SpacePOP products available at retail. There are three major waves coming.

1. Wave one is happening now with the introduction of the SpacePOP chapter book from our partner at MacMillan and the SpacePOP soundtrack from our partners at Sony. You can find these items at retail now. They are available at Target, Barnes & Noble, Costco and hundreds of other outlets where books and music are sold.

2. Wave two happens in about two weeks when the SpacePOP apparel collection launches exclusively at Kohl’s and online with Kohls.com. Supported on a dedicated fixture with SpacePOP signage, you will be able to find the entire sportswear collection at select Kohl’s nationally starting October 15th.

3. Finally, wave three kicks in just in time to capitalize on the busy holiday shopping period with a significant SpacePOP retail presence at both Claire’s and Toys R Us. December 1st will see the launch of a dedicated SpacePOP section at Toys R Us nationally. SpacePOP will be featured in the “What’s Hot and New” section in the front of Toys R Us for the months of December and January before moving into a permanent section. The Toys R Us program will include more than 20 SpacePOP items ranging from Beauty, Music, Games, Puzzles, Accessories, Fashion Dolls, Collectibles, Electronics and much, much more. This truly is just the beginning as we are already deep in dialogue with other national retailers and the program will only grow broader and bigger in 2017.
