Exactly... I'm a neophyte admittedly , but I look at depressed prices historically coupled with rig numbers growing as bullish. You only ramp up production if you see higher demand and prices on the horizon. If rigs started shutting down one after the other that would seem a leading indicator that the industry see weakening demand and prices.

If you sold widgets would you invest in a bigger widget factory if you thought demand and prices were going down in the future?

Maybe I'm just a simpleton with thoughts like that... but that's how I see it.
