On a normal NHMD topic note, those NATE'S homemade p&w batter cans going into SoCal stores were said to be a pilot.

With my experience, I think we are looking at about 30 days max as a "pilot". Sometimes stores that try out a new product give it a "good try" for 90days. But refrigerated space is more valuable, giving space for new products, on average, 30 days.

Also, online sales were good as it allows NATE'S to give some of the product free or at a high discount to the stores (which is also common for any new product offered to stores). This is in place of paying for shelf space during the trial period. But maybe they are paying for the shelf space?

Anyway, all of this could be off, we are not sure who the stores are yet .

Either way, this pilot run to stores won't be in a trial or "pilot" for very long imo. Refrigerated space expedites this process.
