Why can't you do both? Hold a portion and flip some too. Win/Win. You get to average down, you get profits, and you can reinvest lower if you think it's going up someday while being sure to lock in profits and diversify. Sounds like a winning strategy to me. People that are long holders shouldn't even be reading this stuff... go play golf. smile
