So after the release of iOS 10, I was able to check out Apple's HomeKit application. It's stupid. Can I just say that? Well I did.

The compatible products are super expensive and the aftermarket ones require extra hardware to link to the phone. Also, because it's an Apple only product, you are limited by your device. I'm not sure why they released it without the option to include other devices that you might already own. I just can't see why, at this current time, someone would invest into the "HomeKit". I'm much more on board with Zen!
