I read bud750 as trying to help
my take is that he is basically a sincere guy who has a well-connected attorney. My guess is that some of what he posts are based on this third-hand info; at any rate, he has a substantial position and clearly just wants the merger completed. Do not think posters should be asking him questions about timing or relying on his info as official stuff imo
