Just as he was leaving Arrowhead the company incorrectly calculated the number of shares issued in an offering by a material amount.



The point is that this guy's resume is not nearly as solid as made out to be by some commentators. His last public sector experience was nearly 10 years ago where he presided over a 90%+ decline in share price of his company then presumably made a significant math error on the way out. Going from that company, a moderately sized Biotech firm, he went to run a tiny company in Utah which is still tiny today and didn't even bother to keep their website online (pictured below).



Literally the only thing he has going for him compared to Welch is a Masters degree from the 1970's.
