The CyberShield is probably one of those things that homeowners would have to pay for themselves. I can't see where insurance companies would be willing to pay for improvements to covered properties, as they are seriously trying to limit their losses already. From a long-term perspective it would make sense, as structures utilizing CyberShield might not have window/glass failure and would sustain less damage overall, but that's long-term thinking and we Americans aren't very good at that any more. You are right in that they should be out there marketing this product through Home Depot's and Lowe's Special Order channels.
