I decided to sell my 50000 shares of FNMA at $1.65 and buy 24300 FNMAS at $3.38.
My feeling was that the upside is about the same, but the preferred shares are not quite as risky. From what I can tell, the preferred shares at these prices offer greater value for the buck, or at least the "S" preferred does.
