All you have to do is read rooster's, conix's and ole dropdeadfred's post to know HRC has all Trump supporters peg right.
She's certainly right about some of them, but the comment was a mistake. At least she's apologized. But "half" of The Donald's supporters aren't racists, neo-Nazis, or all the other things some of them are. They're people who feel disenfranchised. They've seen their way of life diminished. Things--some of them intangible--they felt were important to them have disappeared. There's no point debating whose fault it is: that's how they feel, and its a problem that needs to be addressed.
Trump's made those people feel good by scapegoating minorities, immigrants, and undocumented aliens. Oh yes, and trade agreements they don't understand, and that Trump evidently doesn't understand either.
But she should NOT go after the people who intend to vote for him. She should go after him, his surrogates, and his advisers.
I can certainly understand how frustrated she is. Obviously she's held to a much higher standard, by the public and by the press. Trump can say whatever the hell he likes, and by now people just shrug. His responses at the Commander in Chief forum would have absolutely disqualified anyone else.
But once again, though there were objections, he got a pass, more or less. That needs to stop.
