SPs where down 2.45 % to close at 2127.81 correct

TVIX was up 31.95 % to close at 24.57 ...


from here down to 2040 that would be down another 88 points from yesterdays close .. that would be another drop of 4.1 % from yesterdays close .. agreed ?

so the question is where does TVIX print when SP hit 2040 ...?

to get to your 35 $ number it would have to rise another 42 % ( 10.43 $) from yesterdays close ... but at the same time the SPs fall another 4.1 % to reach 2040 .. but it only took a 2.45 % drop in the sp s for TVIX to go up 31.95 %...

so what would a 4.1 % drop in the sp next week do for TVIX ?

that would be 1.67 times a bigger %age drop next week than the drop on friday in the SPs ..

You do the math.. i have it up to abaut 37.5 (minimum ) for TVIX at SP 2040
