It is now clear what this is. Someone was horsing around with the stock, probably an insider or a Carnie on this board. Someone figured they could put a few grand into buying to start a rally in advance or as the press release came out. Whoever did that must be ignorant about how this market works. The day of the penny stock is long gone. The person that did the buying is now itching to get out. I suspect you will see that now over the next several days. Look for the stock to fall back to where it was. The volume wasn't that great given the price of the stock. So the damage will not be too bad. You can be thankful that it wasn't a pump and dump. It would have gone straight up and then straight down. Watching and reporting from the sidelines.
