Jack & Eli – Wilczek of Bloomberg did a little drive-by journalism. His topic was Board of Directors longevity as such impacts perceived independence and ‘refreshment’. The topic the SEC ruled on in the Medizone case was the allowance of the proxy question relative to the timeliness of proposal submission. The topic of the proposal could have been anything; it just happened to include the topic of mandatory retirement.

My having a good familiarity with the topic specifics, I think it would be best if you used a little discretion, be patient and didn’t attempt to dissect the SEC communications so as to try to find issues of significance; the matter is evolving.
