This industry needs to consolidate further as demand is not strong enough to support all the many players...
Arcam as part of a company that addresses all the other needs of a manufacturer e.g. Laser, Reinforced Plastics et al could be a good marriage.
If Arcam were to be acquired by a larger fish, the remaining players would be hurt by the new competitive position so going to one of the remaining players might not be a good move... probably more potential staying in a much larger company that would need lots of VPs...
