I specifically spoke to the situation with drunk drivers because that's a known demographic group with a history of impaired driving, probably to the greatest extreme. It would probably be relatively simple to create a database of offenders monitored by law enforcement. There aren't enough law enforcement people to monitor and track down all the fatigue impaired drivers out there. That's going to take another initiative. Don't forget, the watch will alert drivers when their alertness has degraded to the point that they should stop driving. CurAegis has targeted other industries and companies for engagement in fatigue management programs and that will go a long ways toward controlling this problem. If the problem of impaired driving is attacked from many different angles, maybe the driving crisis that exists today can be brought under control. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’d feel a lot safer on the road knowing all previous impaired drivers were in a program to monitor their future driving habits.
