I can relate to that, me too! Sounds like we are in the same boat. Because I am in the electrical business, I was all charged up on this LED lighting company a few years ago. I actually had a close up look at their products (and talked to their people) at a lighting show (Light Fair) in Philly a couple years ago. The products looked genuine, decent and heavy duty IMPO.
The incandesent light bulb (developed in the 1800,s) is ancient energy hog technology, LED is the future and gaining huge popularity in homes and commercial lighting. I see LED used from gas stations to parking lot and street lights in my town.

I will follow your link and read up on the patent etc subject.
Hopefully this company can get a piece of the action in some form or fashion!
