A little ARCH background

So we have a product that is a clear liquid that is classified as a medical device.

The CEO is a Dr., MIT MBA AND former portfolio manager of Putnam's $ 4 BILLION Healthcare Fund.

At Putnam he dealt with numerous institutions. Dr. Norchi understands this market segment.

While at MIT Dr. Norchi sees a Demo by Rutledge Ellis-Behnke PHD of this clear liquid. Even though at this time the product was a Model T Ford compared to today's version of AC5. So in 2006 Dr. Norchi drops ALL opportunities to head up this start-up that becomes knows as Arch.

Here is person who Demo AC5--he mentions how the initial AC5 was not very good compared to current edition

Dr. Norchi has stated that : "I teach diversification but for me I have all my eggs in Arch."

He hires the best peptide scientists in the world to perfect the clear liquid. As a result of this effort he files many patents on the product. See below Expansion of Product Lines

He hires some of the key people from Closure Medical that was sold to JNJ for $370 million in 2005. A hemostasis company.

He takes the company public via reverse merger in 2013 which was huge mistake. This created the opportunity for us to purchase on a bargain basis. I do financial engineering for a living so this is my real area of expertise. All he had to do is a straight up IPO for $18 million and he would have had it nailed. Listed on major exchange with institutions as the primary shareholders. A cakewalk for him. Although he probably owns more of the company because of the reverse merger and what has happened.

So Dr. Norchi's "magic" is that he has great experience dealing with institutions. You cannot attract institutions unless stock price is $ 5.00 or more per their charters. We are not going to move to next level without institutional involvement.

Ireland co-funding of Human Trials----For every one Euro Arch puts up $ 1 Euro and Irish government put up $ 2 Euros for human clinical trials

http://tinyurl.com/o5bgdxs

Based upon funding from the Science Foundation Ireland for each $1 Euro that Arch puts up Curam will contribute $2 Euros …… Human Trial Financing.

CÚRAM, a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) funded research centre, aims to radically improve health outcomes for patients by developing and collaborating on the development of “smart” medical devices. Strong collaborations with industry partners and hospital groups will enable their rapid translation into clinical settings. The Centre brings together researchers from NUI Galway, UCD, DCU, UL, UCC and RCSI. The Centre will include almost 40 industry partners and support product development and the creation of new spin-out companies. Partners will include indigenous Irish companies and multi-nationals.

Professor Abhay Pandit, Director of CÚRAM, said: “CÚRAM has come along at a pivotal point in the medical device industry in Ireland and Europe, as there are large markets with unmet clinical needs. CÚRAM plans to enhance technology that exists and introducing technology that does not yet exist. Our significant collaboration with Arch Therapeutics and other industry partners is very exciting. Leaders within CÚRAM have a successful history working with Arch, and we are delighted to support their drive to commercialization for what should be very important products for the healthcare industry.”
