If they trimmed that position just to reduce overhead I would be somewhat worried about strategy. If they are replacing him with alternate resources to expand sales/ marketing / Tech etc, than I would say it is a good move. With a small company like Vapor-hub, just trimming one position may have more adverse affects than what you gain by reducing the overhead. This company should be growing, not trying to reduce overhead from its few employees...
