You're 100% right. This is what happens when you abuse the privilege of being the world's reserve currency. When we received that right we were one of the bigger creditor (savers) nations of the world now we're a big debtor nation. Just like past countries in history whose currency was abused it would appear time is up for the dollar soon and like you say it will be a rude awakening for most Americans who aren't prepared for it's fall. Too many are hoarding dollars when they should be diversifying out of them.
