Alix Resources Corp. has initiated the first phase of the exploration program on its La Corne 2 (West Canada lithium) property located adjacent and on strike with the Chinese-based Jilin Jien Nickel Industry Co. Quebec lithium mine property. The program will consist of geochemical sampling as well as detailed mapping.
Mike England, president and chief executive officer of Alix Resources, commented: "We are excited to commence a program on the La Corne 2 property which adjoins and is on strike with Jilin's Quebec lithium mine which has previously reported measured and indicated resources of 29.3 million tonnes grading 1.19 per cent lithium oxide (Li2O) and 20.9 million tonnes of inferred resources grading 1.15 pr cent Li2O, respectively (source: National Instrument 43-101 technical report filed by Canada Lithium on SEDAR, June 8, 2011)."
The technical contents of this release were approved by Dr. Michel Boily, PhD, PGeo, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The properties have not been the subject of a National Instrument 43-101 report.
The company now has active lithium projects in Nevada, Mexico and Ontario.
