They were selling product and at least had revenue. Which is what investors want to see. They want to see channels set up and inroads laid.

Everything fizzled up except for the hot dog cart idea. ( see what I did there )

Playing stupid lock out games and throwing fluffy PRs and not concentrating on one or two products during bring up is the wrong way to go. Shows no focus.
