Word is out, and will be published in the Federal Register tomorrow (Friday). The DEA has stated it will not remove marijuana from Schedule 1. It will retain it's current status, but they will loosen up on allowing scientific research of marijuana.

Personally, I think this is good news for FFFC. If they had removed it from Schedule 1 listing, the big banks would have been able to move in to the dispensaries (and shops in the full legalization states) with their credit cards. This would have killed the TommyChongGreenCard before it ever got off the ground.
