POWfolio is still adding publishers and content daily - now up to 59 publishers 26 modern and 33 Golden Age. They still have Silver and Bronze Age to load. They also have premium content and subscriptions to roll out. The app is updated daily with new content, which is handled exclusively by Red Giant as explained by Glowdot productions early in the process.
POWfolio first announced in November by REDG - confusion of launch date lead to speculation it doesn't exist and just a ploy by the CEO. Then people disregarded Glowdot Productions as being a credible app developer.
Westarted to get some actual images and short videos showing POWfolio app working. This came after the new year. Continued speculation that it will not launch in Beta as announced. In early April we get POWfolio BETA version out to testers in iOS.
Remember, this was a product that wasn't supposed to be real, not going to happen, won't happen, just another announcement destined to fail.
On Free Comic Book Day POWfolio goes live in iOS and is available in the app store!
The app that REDG CEO said was coming was delivered!
REDG was dead in the water according to some on this board, not going to survive, etc... And then POWfolio came and within short time we ran to .0008.
This company in my opinion is far from dead. No doubt I am not happy with how ZWAGbox is being handled right now, but to say REDG is done is not remotely close in my opinion. POWfolio is growing everyday and it is 50% owned by REDG (based on the statement from Red Giant - of course some here don't care and won't believe it until it's in a filing, and even then some may not).
My point of this is that REDG has a PRODUCT RIGHT NOW!!!!!! ZWAGbox delay has some here so blown up that POWfolio has taken a back seat.
I already know the counters coming (financials, downloads, proof, no marvel/DC, etc...) Look, all the extra complaining about REDG never delivering has to change. I am not blind either, I know the history, but POWfolio changed much of the outlook for the future in my opinion. ZWAGbox and Markiplier series in retail is late - no debate, but in my opinion it WILL get delivered. POWfolio getting delivered shows they can deliver. And Markiplier plastered to ZWAGbox and Red Giant during SDCC to me means it will get delivered.
BTW - i added the link to Comic-con video and start watching at 16:00min to hear whats in the box.
