It seems that Don Seiffert of the Boston Business Journal (in an article excerpted in #msg-124376100) was the one who started the MYL-buyout rumor, based on MNTA's 2Q16 CC. I found Seiffert's inference off-base insofar as MNTA gave no hint whatsoever on the CC regarding interest in a buyout.
p.s. I think Seiffert is not especially bright, which is probably why he writes for a bush-league publication like BBJ.
