WEGMANS is cleaning up in organic produce sales. Whole Foods losing huge market share to Wegmans in northeast USA. Wegmans owns its own organic farm and works with 100's of organic farms in the mid-atlantic states.
Whole Foods is wayyyy to expensive to shop at. Their customer base is dropping.
BTW, WEGMANS is privately owned. Each of their 89 stores average 700+ employees on the payroll. All stores have massive sales each week.
Wegmans also has a huge retail cult following. Right up there with Harley and Apple. Trader Joe's and WMF have moved way down on the retail cult list.
