question is: will VIX start creeping upward if the deep pockets get quiet intel that DB, etc, is about to crumble?

Looking back at VIX and BB width suggest a quick pop which lines up with what your saying for getting movement back in the market for good weekly trades. There are better setups that present themselves for a full on bearish bet, and i just dont see it.

I think vix pop swoon then really low vix will be when they start front loading, If the big players know what will be the cause or event..
