Macula can have various other diseases, the disease Macula gets due to diabetes, is called DME.

10% of diabetes patients get DME. DME is about $2B+ market and growing at about 20% annual rate as diabetes growing fast as a global epidemic. ILUVIEN getting market share at fast pace because of its superiority in efficacy, administration, safety and pricing than its 3/4 competitors.
