Back to the matter at hand.. this is what i think...
1. The product and the trial is simple... it either works or doesnt... theres really no in-between. So far its worked really well on animals... from what i recall in my HS bio class is that humans are "animals" and therefore we should bleed the same as a chicken (i dont think theres much else involved)... so stopping a bleed should be the same as well...
2. If there is a difference it would probably be the chemical effects between species... because some chemicals affect a species more than others.. so humans may have an allergic reaction or have diarrhea or something like that while it doesnt bother the pig (i assume thats one of the reasons for the 30 day wait)
3. Plenty of cats around the corner... but the big kahuna is the fda (not sure when that is)
4. Concerns... otc, warrants and i believe patent protection timeline is limited... not sure how much this will affect negotiations but im sure it will
Regardless... $1b is nothing to jnj... ill take it
