None of the market makes sense anymore. The futures only seem to matter lately if they are up big. Last Friday should have been a big down day with that miss on the economy related indicator but we made a new high. And still we are told that inflation is under 2%. Where I live a 1 bedroom apt rents for $900-1500 with the higher number being the norm. But all the new jobs are minimum wage or super high tech. Multiple people live in a one bedroom. There are lots of help wanted signs, but many are for kitchen type help. Homeless people everywhere and they're scary looking. Like something out of a mad max movie. Not the Old Town alcoholics type anymore, but young people with tats everywhere. They get money somewhere to pay for those tats. They call themselves travelers. It's happening everywhere. Homeless people are growing in numbers, and yet people where I live are spending $450000 and up on small 2 bedroom homes (750 sq ft) and bidding them up. A woman up the street bid up a house $100,000 just to ensure she'd get it. Then she didn't move into it for over a year.
