Speaking specifically to the Company’s technical developments, the second quarter brought with it the introduction of Kraig’s newest and most powerful gene splicing and editing technology. This technology will allow us to precisely target specific silk characteristics in a way not previously possible. This is a huge step forward in creating materials which are even more advanced than our Dragon Silk™. This quarter, our team completed a significant number of R&D operations utilizing a range of genetic designs. We expect the results of those design tests to return in the third quarter. If successful, our work may provide the foundations for an entirely new approach for Kraig Labs and new applications for spider silk.
