Basically the story here is that there is a ton of compost, but no money to ship it, market it, or sell it. So we need a solution to move that compost first of all.
Second thing is, to get the material and to process it, they need more money...they could start this right away, but are underfunded.
The Carbon credit process seems to not have gone as expected, and is going very slow. This seems legitimate, as most processes such as these are difficult. But I also believe 1 person dedicated to this should easily be able to remediate it.
Now the biggest problem here is basically that the company needs money, so the energy is being spent on raising money, which is the hardest thing to do. No progress is being made there, or very little, so they're able to make no progress elsewhere. This is our growth constraint. Different avenues such as the crowdfunding campaign have been tried, but it wasn't very successful, (at least in my opinion).
So now as far as solutions, does anyone have any ideas for money?
1. Any private VC's etc. that could infuse cash? (if this is the route I honestly think im going to show up to Casselberry and attend the meeting, so keep me in the loop if any of you have contacts)
2. Any other avenues such as the crowdfunding?
3. Any uncollateralized loans (private loans) for at least a year?
