AND, there might even be some real important sounding names there (Brekken, Spasky PhD, Schmatsky the "expert" in blah blah, and Dr Who, etc) and one or two of the "conference" ole "speakers" they "might" even speak with accents, which I think must make um real "important" LOL !!
Is "sponsoring conferences" an actual, legit, profit making business model? How's it worked out for PPHM so far?
Like what, 30 years now and $500 Ma MILLION bucks of shareholder money smoked up like a blast furnace and how many "conferences" did that pay for? And what did said "conferences" do for the shareholders or the common share price or the growth of the company or getting any trials approved as opposed to FAILING in Phase III, etc??? Well, seems to me IMO, the only "growth" at PPHM has been via hiring employee bloat and paying big comp packages to the "C" level boys and BOD members via spending an essentially endless pile and stream of common share dilution generated cash?
In something like 30 years and 1/2 a ba $BILLION bucks spent, AND with lots of "conferences" attended by supposed "important speakers" (complete with "papers" presented and lots of info on what supposedly works in "mice" and other fuzzy creatures of the animal kingdom, LOL!) - PPHM to date has produced exactly ZERO ROI on its invested capital. ZERO (actually NEGATIVE in reality). ZERO return to its shareholders.
Yep. ZERO. GOOSE EGG. So "conference" away I say- it's worked out so well for them so far, LOL !! Just another way to blow some coin while sounding important and getting some travel junket time under their belts (frequent flyer miles for vacations later on- just another perk, eh), and maybe some golf or snorkeling or skiing on the side and probably some 5-star dining tossed in (high priced wine no doubt probably) all on the ole "travel budget".
It's all no sweat when spending OPM, OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY, it's easy as pie.
