...if they didn't hedge a few % at 15 to 1, there's just no chance now............. I'm afraid you are but a pilgrim in an "unholy" land................ remarkable bunch these Intel "investors"

Oh, come on. Come down a bit, will you? Since when are you bullying Intel? Many years I suppose. Compare Intel's 10 year chart with that of AMD. AMD still is in big trouble. They are by no means the thread to Intel that it once was. Maybe this is going to change, but I'll wait for proves.

The current share price gains are mainly related to cost reductions and shrinking of AMD which may take its chances for a competitive company forever. I don't see anything sustainable in this company.

Besides: I liked AMD a lot and Intel needs competition, which you really can see now as they execute so terribly. I also traded AMD once the rumours came up that they will supply the APUs in the next gen consoles, which just made perfect sense. Was a good trade but it was also clear that this business won't save the company due to eroding margins by nature (the more you sell, the lower the price).

Lisa Su definitely does a great job there, but there is just so little technological substance left at AMD that I can't think of them to stand against the big guys (Intel, Samsung, Qualcomm etc.).
