when a company makes this much noise it is intended to create an illusion. Companies that do well go about their business quietly and efficiently. Take the Canadian press release for example for Canadian Rocky Mountain High, including the Facebook page. If anyone had done their homework at the time of the announcement they would have realized the "order" for Canada, a country with only 10% of the USA population, was going to do an initial run of 1,000,000 which would at the time, have put them ahead of the USA market in terms of production. Did that make sense? No. It would have meant the USA market should have been closer to or over 10,000,000 cans. But it had the desired effect of pumping the share price. The Canadian order never appeared, no approvals were given by Health Canada to have the drink available, and they did one little convenience trade show in the home town of Rodney Peterson where they brought in a few cases and took some pictures, shared the hype. There was so much wrong with that business plan, starting with the fact that RMHB press released the order before the company had any legal status in Alberta. The company was created after the fact so ask yourself one simple question as a business person. How can you sign AND announce a business deal with a company that at the time, did not even legally exist? Not to mention he used his son's name as a director, not his own, and altered corporate records to have his son included as a director of corporations that no longer existed at the time he put his sons name on those corporate records. Too much about all of that smelled and of course, as I knew, it would not happen, and it did not. Sorry, way too much hype. Good companies do good work, bad companies put out press releases.
