What an elaborate conspiracy

A conspiracy that involves fooling multibillion dollar oil companies - the largest in the world - to spend years and make significant outlays in engineering staff to perpetrate.

In your conspiracy here, does the technology matter at all? Do you think it's fake, or real? Or it's a side show to what you see as the bilking of shareholders?

Here is what I think is more likely: a genuine attempt to create a revolutionary technology, and significant, major progress to realizing that aim, coupled with a self-serving attitude by management and a determination that if it doesn't work out, they won't be the ones left without a shirt.

I find this a little frustrating and cynical - I would much prefer to see these people earning $80,000 a year and taking on more equity - but what are you gonna do? It is inconceivable that Bigger and every other CEO would be paying such nice salaries if the shareholders were unhappy with it.

The company seems to have been bankrolled by some major investors. We can be of the impression that this isn't a group of minority shareholders who own the majority of the shares. Whoever this group is, they were able to oust the former CEO. So I somehow feel that those people with major skin in the game, who post here occasionally, have a feeling for what is going on. And Bigger's salary is going to pay them now.

You can't make much money by buying crappy penny stock at 10 cents and selling it at 14 cents. There also isn't much volume. It seems that the vast majority of these shares are being held.

So while you see a conspiracy, others see a genuine company.

I guess you'll change your tune the minute there's a contract and jump on board to make a killing with the rest of us.
