Let me see here, I have been a Methodist all my life, lately I have had more than 1 issue with the United Methodist Church becoming quite PC orientated, well, towards the end of last week my bride & I learned that in Scottsdale Ariz. that Methodist installed an openly Gay Lesbian bishop and her wife was there for the ceremony......need I said I was upset.....at a cross roads here----talked with the Good Lord about my stink'n bad attitude, came to realize changing church doors really not going to solve my issue, or not just yet....it seems all denominations have their share of fallen away issues. Went to Church Sunday---left home early to give time for me to speak with our pastor---my question..."are we going to be a Bible Believing Church or cave into PC"....hang in here, I am gett'n to da point...seems the United Methodist is made up of several district....that out there is a western division, the west side of our church organization is having major issues with not following our discipline , they just doing as they wish and to hell with everyone else....now the only ones that can bring charges against them is themselves---go figure----however the district that I am in is total disagreement and have given letters from all our Bishops of protest (maybe not the correct wording).....there is much concern that the United Methodist church is facing what could be a major division within itself.....from my stand point, may not be a bad idea. Anyway at the beginning of the service the pastor addressed this problem, handled it much nicer than I could have, the ask if there was a song request, a lady ask for "Trust and Obey"....I picked up my hymnal and opened it---exactly to this page----Trust and Obey has been on my mind all week, some things are just out of our hands and we only need to Trust and Obey....

God handled everything in getting the Hebrew children out of Egypt, God handled everything for Joseph, God raised His only Son from the grave, God spoke all things into existence, reckon a queer Methodist Bishop is a rather simple thing for Him to deal with-----How far we have fallen from Grace, MY,,,MY,,,MY

Mom was right....keep my own front porch clean...before telling another to clean theirs----I don't have the exact passage in front of me, but it goes along these lines----cleaning it all up, getting it right---starts at the door of the church----I'll see if I can find the correct wording & passage ---God Bless
