It was denied because cannabis is not legal on the federal level therefore the federal GOV will not federally trademark anything related to cannabis however by filing for it now shows intent and can therefore seek it as intellectual property and get it first when the fed legalizes cannabis which will happen in the near future. Over half the States have passed legislation to legalize and soon MEDICAL cannabis will be available nationwide. Can stop it now!

Elections this fall will tilt the ship toward legalization.

He could always apply for a state trademark in any of the states where weed is medically or recreationally legal.

The company has showed no signs of handling raw product at all. But rather a means or a machine for dispensing such products.
