MYOK is trying to develop a treatment to prevent HCM

Trust me when I say I'm well aware of what MYOK is *trying* to do. Not trying to be a jerk, but I've been knee-deep in this area for many years.

Here's a question: how can they try to prevent HCM by using a drug that does not impact the underlying disease driver mutations?
