Yeah if I had a lot more free time and was into Pokemon growing up, I would probably put money into the game to level up faster. I work full time though and was too busy playing sports growing up to get into Pokemon. I do love the game though and think plenty of people will put money into it.

I wonder what Nintendo's cut is? Supposedly Nintendo owns 32% of Niantic according to this article.
