Is the Libsyn/iHeart announcement bad news? This week's announcement that Libsyn would make podcasts available on iHeart sounded exciting. But, I did some digging and it looks like the same arrangement that iHeart set up with Libsyn competitor Spreaker 3 years ago. Anyone know if that's the case? If so, it would be pretty bad news since it means that it has taken 3 years for Libsyn to update its product to catch up with a competitor.

If anyone has insight on how this deal is different than the Spreaker arrangement, please post details here. I'd love to see this as a good news signal that Libsyn is innovating rather than a bad news signal that it is taking 3 years to catch up with smaller competitors.
