ALERT: AVOID DOWNTOWN OLYMPIA & I-5 AT PLUM ST.
Everyone should avoid downtown Olympia at this point, per the police scanner folks are breaking out windows of cars and climbing on top of cars, and there is a 10 person brawl going on at Union at Plum, protesters. Plum Street and Union are closed in the area. The entire Olympia and Lacey police Departments are responding. Medics responding to a pepper spray assault victim at Casa Mia.
Update, they are going on the I-5 Northbound onramp and will be blocking the ramp and possibly the freeway
Update, protesters will be blocking NB Interstate 5 at the Plum Street on-ramp.
Update 2032, at this point police have gotten them off of the freeway and they have turned around and are headed North on Plum Street
2041, Damaged caused to Les Schwab on Plum Street, Olympia Police are ordering dispersal immediately
2056, 911 reports of people firing paintball guns.
