MDF - Any one see the post on Yahoo that provided a link to the CMS report through July 1? Is anyone familiar with how the reporting works? MDF had reported 3500 HMO members when they reported in June, but the report indicates 3200 members. I was wondering if this could be reflective of the administrative lag behind signing people up and actually getting them on the paying Metcare Advantage roles? This is speculation on my part, but it is probably worth understanding and a lag seems reasonable. The poster speculates that they lost 300 members, but that seems very unlikely indeed unless something umpleasant has occurred. Any additional insights are welcome.
