I have been seeing this time after time people asking if DUST follows gold. AGAIN NOOOOOOOOO DUST and NUGT are etfs that follow the miner stocks! Miners stocks specifically GDX and ABX. Why can't people understand this? DUST is a bear etf and NUGT is a bull etf. When GDX and ABX for example go up then DUST most usually goes down and NUGT goes up. When GDX and ABX go down the reverse most usually occurs. Gold is like a barometer most usually.If gold flies up then NUGT goes up as well. When gold flies up DUST goes down.
