You answered your own question. Didn't Sarvis state this:

6. Surrounding yourself with a person/group that you are confident they wish to grow the concept, you at least find yourself with a fighting chance to move forward. Staying in the same place doing same thing wishing for better results is just not the answer. We have stated that before.

That's why SHOM always did a million in revs per year but couldn't get out of the trips. You should be excited that Sarvis did what he did.
